Recognizing students for their patriotic efforts

A student's patriotic extra curricular efforts / activities must involve at least 100 hours of volunteerism associated with support of the troops, veterans, and/or other involvement that exemplifies / fosters love and pride of America. (The hours can occur over a two year period.)  It can be done through individual effort or for a charity / nonprofit organization.

  • Students eligible... Must be in grades 1 through 12.

  • Student 13 and over ... You can apply by yourself, but must state a parent or legal guardian is aware of the application.  Also, a parent or legal guardian can do so on the student's behalf.

  • Student under 13 ... A parent or legal guardian must apply on the student's behalf.

Recognized Students...

  • Will have their own page with patriotic efforts and grade level listed (1st - 3rd grade as a range) without reference to age.
  • Will receive an 11" x 8.5" certificate (on left) by mail and the badge above for site display by email.
  • Can include reference to being listed on Student Patriots Honor Hall in college and other applications.

Reminder... Friends, teachers, and others who know of a deserving student . . . please make him, her, or a parent aware of Student Patriots Honor Hall and to apply, accordingly.

  • Provide at least 250 words about your (the student) patriotic extra curricular efforts including if it is in association with a charity / nonprofit organization.  Also, list links to web pages that have related information. (Failure to provide enough information will result in the application not being considered.)
 
  • Estimated hours involved in your patriotic efforts:  
     
  • Period (up to 2 years) that your patriotic efforts occurred:    (mm/yy - mm/yy)
  • Confirmation / Recommendation of Patriotic Efforts . . . Please provide up to three adult non-family members' comments (at least 75 words each) confirming your efforts and recommending you to Student Patriots Honor Hall.  (A parent can provide the recommendation, if he or she is the only adult involved with your patriotic efforts.)  Make sure to list the adult's full name and email address below his / her comments, as they will be contacted for verification purposes.

     

I am submitting this application with at least one of my parents or legal guardian being aware of it . . . and understand that notification of my application's outcome can take up to two months. (A parent or guardian's submission on behalf of a student supplants this statement.)
