1. Site or section's intent must first meet . . . exhibiting love and pride of America with no political bias or intent.  Listing categories are...

   1. Military and/or Veteran - Sites, sections, or pages related to the military and veterans, including family support.

   2. Personal / Individual - Personal sites with at least one page expressing patriotic pride.

   3. Homeland Security - Law enforcement, fire protection, and other homeland security related sites.

   4. Community - Faith based, learning institutions, government, charity, and similar sites with pages expressing patriotic pride.

   5. Commercial / Business - Must have a specific "non-commercial / revenue" page or section that express patriotic pride.  (Only links to the commercial section can be on the patriotic page / section.)

2. Link only sites are ineligible.

3. Keep individual pages under 200k bytes . . . and definitely make extra pages when using many images.  Remember about download time, especially with visitors using a dial-up service.

4. Content . . . must be a positive commentary related to the United States of America and/or its citizens.

5. Content . . . cannot contain material which is derogatory to the USA.

6. Political and religious related sites must have a specific page or pages devoted strictly to patriotism to be listed . . . And no political intent can be associated with it.

7. Entire site cannot contain any adult material, links to adult sites, hateful and obscene language, and/or other inappropriateness, including espousing illegal activity.

8. Site must be in English or have an English version.

9. All information must be submitted in English.

10. Music associated with any page must be freeware midi unless the owner of the copyright has given permission for its use.  (Most singers do not allow use of their songs online.) There also should be a turn off option.

11. Slide shows and videos should be optional.  (Visitor must be able to turn them on or off.)

12. Must have a title for site or section; and preferably, the same as listed with the submitted URL.

13. All copyright material used on the patriotic site or section must be noted and approved by the owner, if different from the site's owner.

14. Make sure your are familiar with descriptions of the five categories before submitting, as all approved submissions are listed in the most appropriate category with final determination by USA Patriotism!

15. Age Requirement - The submitter must be 13 years or older.  And while AWARD SITES! does not require or verify the age of an individual providing information, it will remove a site if it is determined the submitter is under 13 years old.

Listing Period...
A listing usually occurs within two weeks, but at times might require a longer period.  Notification will be emailed with the USA Patriotism! Contributor's badge (see sample above) for display on your site.
