| A Year Has Passed | | Way too fast the year has passed. Yet we'll always remember that day in September.
The loss of lives of husbands and wives Fathers and mothers sisters and brothers.
Thousands went to help and search. What sites they saw made stomachs lurch.
Though physically we were not there, In hearts and minds we all despaired.
We did not think it could happen to us, But now that it has we have to show our stuff.
Those people can run, but not hide forever. They better believe America's more clever. | By Debra Oliver Copyright 2002 |
