War and Tragedy | | | 
| The Unknown War |
| The war of forgotten glory
lacks the recognition it deserves.
Where's the appreciation
Towards the purpose that it serves?
Vietnam, the World Wars
create a spark in your memory,
but the conflict in Korea
just does not seem to be.
The war over communism,
in which the US did participate,
caused tens of thousands of American deaths,
We should honor them, there's no debate.
So I have a proposition
for you to accept or deny,
these veterans deserve remembrance,
I know it deserves a try.
Every year on March eleventh,
on the day the USS Randall departed,
a silent moment of gratitude,
I believe should be started. | Abby
