|
I understand why
you joined the Army.
You said you wanted
to make a difference.I understand why
you went to boot camp.
You said it would
make you stronger.
I understand why
you answered that call,
You said cause
it was your job.
I understand why
you went to that foreign land.
You said it was to
fight for our country.
But what I don't understand,
is why you had to die?
You came to me one night
in my dreams and said
''Cause I died for your freedom''. |
