I had a flashback from Iraq
I fought alongside friends, in 8th corps
And when I heard the call, I knew I could not ignore
I suited up, and waited, for the bomb bay doors to unlock.

core
I jumped into Afghanistan, at precisely 12 o'clock.

It was quiet, a good change from before
And there, a shape, I squeeze the trigger once – a crack

One by one, the enemy falls to the floor
Our Sergeant was wounded; we sheltered him behind a rock.

But into Kabul we walk
