We can not bring Time back,
We can Only Remember,
But for some of us, it's like time is in a sack,
And if we shook it up, Time would Come Pouring out,
All Together.
The 50's, 60's, 70's have Stood Still,
So Many Tragedies in such a Short Span of Time,
The Two Kennedy's, Martin Luther King, Vietnam,
And the Ones that were Killed.
Time Passes by, and the Years go by Fast,
But all the Memories of the 50's, 60's, & 70's will
Forever Last.
1950's- My Brother Born, Myself as Well,
1960's- Brought About Deaths of Friends,
1970's- My Brother KIA in the Nam', My Mother Gone Too,
How, I Will Not Tell.
I Want to Thank all Veterans for Giving us Our Rights to be Free,
And to Say, "Welcome Home" it's been a Long Time Coming Indeed. |
