I Am (Terrorism)country as flag - small
I am... to some the greatest scourge to mankind
To others a way to corrupt all that’s goods for a pursuit of power
Fire and smoke that can crumple even the mightiest of buildings
The fury of hell unleashed on sleepy mornings
The unfinished bedtime story of a child who is lost to his parents love
The taps from a bugle,and the harsh sound of 21 guns to those who die in an effort to defeat me
The changing of flower over graves by those left to cope alone
The anger that causes flags of freedom to burn on a street
The replacement of toys by guns in a child’s hands
The fear in the eyes to all who witness my fury
The dread in a widowed mom's eyes when a child asks if their daddy is coming home
One who cares not for the color of your skin or your religious beliefs
The shock to those who said it could never happen here
The sound of bullets at night in war torn countries replacing the sound of lullabies a child should here
A madman’s word of god twisted to his evil cause
The angry words said to those who oppose me
The bane of mankind which could bring upon the apocalypse
A newscast turned off because I happened so far from your home
What happens when people judge others too much
The sound of sirens of heroes rushing to rescue those I prey upon
The one who can silence dreams of two hearts who became one
I’m all this, all such an evil terror no words can describe me
I am TERRORISM!!
I am what the world must today unite to stop!
