Fields of Freedom | |
|
In the fields of freedom the sun shines upon,
where men of valor will always go on...
Wildflowers across wide open spaces,
where sunshine lights up stoic faces.
You can hear your name called from afar,
everyone here knows who you are.
Voices of the fallen are heard,
every time you hear the songbird.
Whispers of heroes echo in the trees,
you feel their spirit against the breeze.
Souls turn into butterflies,
floating upon the wind,
beyond the blue skies.
Home to all the heroes who come,
here in the fields of freedom. | By Jamie Badour Copyright 2008 Listed
