| | Fields of Flowers | |
| Beneath the soil where flowers grow Lies the tranquil bones of men Who in honor spilled their blood In hopes this battle they would win.
Nourished with their precious blood These flowers in happiness grow But the sadness that this rich soil hides These flowers will never know.
For no matter how much happiness They bring to those who survived They n'eer can bring the hopes and dreams Of the brave men who in battle died. | By Claude Dhuet Copyright 2006 Listed 11/27/2006 |
