| | Columbia | 
| Columbia did the best she could
To bring them safely home
But she was old, and tired, and weak
She never should have flown As she plummeted to the earth in pieces
Our hearts were shattered too
For we held dear the space travelers
And their mission too Their contributions were many
Their sacrifices more
They gave their heart, their soul, and their life
