We Still Stand Readycountry as flag - small
Though you think us dust, through decades dead
Here and across the blue seas to continents spread

Though you think us long dead, we stand vigilant still
Ready to guard you and yours with a steadfast iron will

Some still ready to fight again for the birth of our nation
Others to preserve precious freedoms in a far-flung location

To prevent the extermination of God's chosen people
We will rise again to the bell from humanity's steeple

We who left our life's blood on Normandy's sand
Our resolve never weakens though far from our land

We who forever sleep in far off islands of balmy green
We will arise in an instant to play the final battle scene

We who die on this day fighting against apostles of hate
We stand up again, victory over these foes, the ultimate fate

We stand ready and willing, though you think us not here
A brotherhood of sleeping soldiers, 'til liberty's final cheer
