| | | Veterans of War |  |
| Verdun, I remember it well, and
Every soldier fallen there.
Then the Treaty of Versailles, and an
End of war, or so I thought. I
Remember too, those buddies lost at El
Alamein, Midway, Guadalcanal, Leyte,
Normandy, Pearl Harbor, The Bulge and
So many more.
One world, all at war
Fighting for freedoms cause
Warsaw, Casablanca, Paris, Anzio
And Iwo Jima, all bathed in blood.
