On The Battlefieldcountry as flag - small
On the battlefield you find me
where star spangled banners yet wave
Upheld by the strong and by the brave.
By their conviction and their destiny.

On the battlefield you find me
In the hearts and minds of all
Our soldiers, our children, standing tall
Defending freedom and liberty.

On the battlefield you find me
You must heed the curtain call
Though some of you, indeed, must fall
You must protect man's progeny.

On the battlefield you find me
This time the foe is not a nation
This is a global provocation
This time evil is the enemy.

On the battlefield you find me
Though I'm not engaged in battle
My voice still heard above the rattle
Goodness making evil flee.

On the battlefield you find me
Long after the war was won
When the soldier's work is done
Reunited with his family.

On the battlefield you find me
Each time you must decide
In good or evil to imbibe
A guiding light throughout eternity.
