Old WWII Vetscountry as flag
Back in June of '44
Many soldiers came ashore...
upon the beaches of Normandy
now they fight no more...

They fight not upon
that foreign land...
for in these days
they can hardly stand...

Their fight in this present day
is a battle in history untold...
for those who survived D-Day
now fight against the cold...

It is the cold war of old age;
a war that is never won...
for the cold hand of death
reaches out for everyone...

Prepare a final eulogy
say goodbye to all on earth...
embrace those dying vets
for in death, what is he worth...
