Our Hearts Go Out

We are gathering together
To honor lives from the past.
Those who fought to save our country,
Making our freedom last

Chorus:
Our hearts go out to the families
That lost a soul or two..
Reflect upon the liberties
They fought to save for you.

We must stand up so proudly
As the flags go passing by.
They stand for all the freedoms
That made these great men die.

May the legacy continue
Beyond the written page.
May we give to all our children
Our greatest heritage.
