| Happy Thanksgiving from all here in our USA; to you that are gone
We'll be so happy when this chore is over and you're home.
Praying for Blessings upon you all; guys and women
We all look forward to the sweet day you will be home again.
Be especially watchful for each other; like I have to tell you!
We love you all, and know to our country; you are true.
How could anyone ask more; you're America; dignified.
Happy Thanksgiving, Our Troops!
We think of you all that's there and hearts fill with pride.
I pray it's over very soon; knowing what you're all about
None could ever in this world ask for better heroic scouts.
When you look about, it's for your sister or brother;
Your hearts are full of love; saving grief for Dad and mother.
I would be so proud to shake each and every hand there
To let you know, we hold you close in our hearts with Prayer.
Come home again sons and daughters; we miss you so much
We can hardly wait; ''Til you're home, and feel that tender touch.
I know you're careful; look after each other; that's what you do
Ask anyone in the USA; we know your stamina; through and through.
We miss you; we love you all; we grieve for those we lost.
We know you'll take care of the pagans responsible for our cost.
God is beside you each day; He holds you in His hand in all you do.
We, here in America (your Country) love you always
