| | | Half My Heart Is In Iraq |  |
| I wear a sweatshirt that says
“Half my Heart is in Iraq”
but I think all of my heart is there
with you.
Every night I ask in my prayers to keep you
Safe and well and every night I am blessed
Another day has come and gone
Without a knock on our door.
When you come home to me
You will be changed by this war.
But not even war can change
Our love for each other.
You are in my thoughts all day
But there is something that you don’t know
With or without a war you have always been
