Freedom and Liberty

Freedom is worth fighting for,
And also liberty, too,
Beneath our flag, Old Glory,
'Tis our Red, White and Blue.

It waves in all its glory,
From sea to shining sea,
An emblem of our nation,
The home of the brave and the free.

Many men and women
Have fought, and many died,
Defending and protecting
America, with pride.

And many have been wounded
Upon the battlefield,
Believing that our cause was just,
Because they wouldn't yield,

But bravely stood their ground there,
And fought for victory,
Defending and protecting
Our freedom and liberty.

On this special Veteran's Day
Let's pause and say a prayer,
And thank the Lord for Veterans,
And show them that we care.

And let us fly Old Glory,
'Tis our Red, White and Blue,
And sing our nation's anthem,
And show our patriotism, too.

And show our pride of ownership
In all we do and say,
As citizens of this great land,
The good old U. S. A.
