| Brave Soldiers | |
| Thousands of soldiers March off to war While millions of teardrops Fall to the floor
For the brave soldiers Who march off to war Are fathers, husbands, sons and brothers And so each soldier leaves behind A grieving child, wife, father or mother
Our soldiers are brave, dedicated Devoted, proud and true And at times they must feel Just as me and you
Weary, tired Scared and alone Feeling as if They may never get home
Oh, but brave soldiers You are never alone For our hearts are all with you Beckoning you home
So remember brave soldier When you feel all hope is gone Reach deep inside yourself And find the strength to carry on
Lift up your tired leg With that heavy boot you carry And march on brave soldier March on
For each step you take Brings you one step closer home | By Brenda Long Copyright 2006 Listed 01/29/2007 |
