| Pride of Ownership |
|
| I've gone across the USA At least ten times or so, And every time I drive around, The people are aglow.
There's something that I notice Is witnessed in their face, It's something that I see a lot In traveling place to place.
I guess it's "Pride of Ownership" In a land that's brave and true, And being free to make the choice Of things they WANT to do.
It's knowing that "Free Enterprise" Is here for all to see, Within the greatest land on earth Where all men may be free.
No matter where I wander, No matter where I roam, I'm proud to be a "Country Boy" And call this "Home, Sweet Home." | By James H. Lee Jr. Copyright 1988 |
