| I seen your big red truck today
it drove right on by,
but how was I to know
that that would be your last ride,
for it was late
real late that night
when the police came on by,
They said that it was bad
and mommy just started to cry,
for I no not why mommy would cry
or even be so sad,
but then mommy came to me
and told me my daddy was dead,
for the fire came alive she said
and took you daddy's life,
and now all I have left of him
