There is a freedom we all can achieve.
There is a freedom if we all just believe,
in the task that the soldiers have been sent forth to do.
A task that needs the support of me and of you.
With a strength that comes from deeply with in,
they said their good-byes to their families and friends.
Because while their hearts ached to stay by their sides
the calling to protect them was not going to hide.
Bravely they stay this task to complete.
While their families and friends have their own task to meet.
This task is enjoying the freedom in this land,
A freedom the soldiers guard under the protection of God's hand.
So while their hearts ache for their soldier's return,
their faces beam with pride at the lessons they've learned.
Standing together with courage and strength
supporting each other no matter what length.
The families and friends face their task with a smile
knowing they'll see their soldier in just a short while.
