| A Loved Ones Tribute to Heroes and She-roes |  |

Heroes and She-roes we all know a few,
Answering the call, you leave many behind, who love you.
We all know that you have a job to do,
While you are serving, we can’t help but think of you.
We know you are brave, dedicated, and trained,
Even though, deep within we carry a silent pain,
The commitment you have is deeper than words can explain,
Knowing you are in harm’s way our concern is genuine and plain.
We wonder at times how you are and where you might be,
What’s going on and what do your eyes see?
We know that the price of freedom is costly,
Even so, we hope beyond hope, that you will not become a casualty.
It’s hard to let you go and join the freedom fight,
Tears are often shed as you carry out your plight,
You are in our thoughts, day and night,
