| What Is The 4th Of July? |  |
| Here I sit in my nice comfortable Cool Home,
Thinking of the many things given up to make this Possible,
Founders of this country had no idea of Greatness to Come,
People coming here have reached Heights before Unachievable.
Early settlers of this Land had minor problems like no food and Cold,
Many folks of these modern days have wants that are Uncontrolled,
We live in a hurried, hectic society watching many problems UnFold,
On this 4th of July we must remember the future our forefathers ForeTold.
The future is Ours, we must all make contributions to it Health,
The future is a little dulled by our enemies, cunning and Stealth,
We cannot allow this to happen to this Great country of Ours,
We must take a few moments; to think of Heart's many Scars.
These last years with all of the worlds roiling, boiling and Strife,
We must honor what our forefathers have given us in this Life,
We must think of our Soldiers Protecting what is Free,
We mustn't let our enemies in our land and away Decree,
We must all try supporting this country; to participate is the Key.
So Enjoy your picnic, trips, sharing and this Great Celebration,
Your travels blessed by our ForeFathers in their Wisdom,
The sharing of Our soldiers families, Lives, Limbs for Our Freedom
