| Worth Fighting For |

| Father, I am thankful for
This land where freedom rings,
For being born American,
Beneath the Eagle wings.
The brave and valiant countrymen
Who fought for liberty,
Have sacrificed both life and limb
To keep our nation free.
Their cause was just and noble,
They fought against the foe,
And to the would-be conquerors,
They dealt a mighty blow.
We, too, must be courageous
As stalwarts, brave and true,
Defenders of our freedom,
And our Red, White and Blue.
For liberty is precious,
And all who would be free,
Would do well to defend it,
From sea to shining sea.
God grant the voice of freedom
To ring forevermore,
That all may know the sound of peace,
