| Hope and Pride |
|
| A place free from one person power, A place that holds liberty in it's highest honor. A place where people can live free A place where always be.
The day of the towers...9/11/01 Shall never be forgotten In the hearts of many. And our brave men and women, Who are fighting for what we believe in, Shall come back one day and tell their stories And they shall be our generations' veterans and heroes As we go on in life and strive to remember That one glorious day, that was shattered by hate.
Let the following generations remember it, As a day America stood up, And made it a goal to stop hate. And let the others know that you can't destroy America's towers. Because the towers are still standing, Called Hope and called Pride. And you can't smash the towers we hold deep inside.
So, no matter what you may say Or who you may hate Remember that we are all created equal In this country, in this land, Called the United States of America. | By Leigh-Anne Hurley. Copyright 2004 http://www.livejournal.com/users/translucentflam/ |
