I cannot help but think about why
there are those who take a stand
that is not about love of our great land,
doing so for political gain
caring not that it is based upon a lie
even towards those beyond reproach,
who have to suffer from this false disdain
that hurts all Americans in its encroach,
as it gives aid and comfort to America's foes
no matter the cunning of the misleading prose.

Yes,  freedom of expression is a must,
but it comes with a trust
when it is about duty, honor, and country...
as our brave, proud troops do for you and me
every single day,
representing us all and our beloved USA.
