| A Proud Flag Salute | |
| I am just an average American. I own a mini-van. I do not own a stick shift. I live on my own land.
I have a loving husband, A child in nursery care, Another goes to high school. Oh, the faucets need repair!
I am just an average American I teach my children not to lie, I own a set of wind chimes. And like Mom’s Apple Pie.
I drive thirty minutes to my work. John Grisom’s novel I have read. My closet has no storage space And I own a king size bed.
I am just an average American. A pair of running shoes I own. I vacation at the beach With my tiny black cell phone.
A computer is on my desk, I own a printer too. I am just an average American Saluting the red, white and blue! | By Margaret Bing Copyright 2004 Listed April 16, 2007 |
