“That Black Wall” reflects Daniel Barnes'
passion for America and his fellow brothers who
fought in Vietnam. That Black Wall is a song
honoring those who both died and are still
living. It’s his way of saying “Welcome home
brother! Daniel performed this at the Sylvan
Theater near the Washington Monument in
Washington, DC for the VVA’s 25th Year Anniversary of the
Vietnam Veterans Memorial celebration. One
hundred percent of the proceeds are being
donated to the Vietnam Veterans Assistance Fund.

About the war and the fall
And those who were sacrificed
Their names on That Black Wall
We were so young and innocent
And forced to the call
Sent to fight for our freedom
We were never welcomed there at all
We gave up our youth
In their jungles and their sand
