Vice President Dick Cheney pins a Bronze Star on U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Jaret M. Radimer at Al Asad Air Base in Iraq Dec. 18, 2005. 

Radimer is an infantryman with the 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment.

Cheney made a surprise visit to Iraq, where he met with U.S. troops and Iraqi leaders and military commanders.
