George Washington (1732 to
1799)
characterize America's first

founding father . . . as a Great American Patriot.

-
If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.
-
Liberty, when it begins to take root, is a plant of rapid growth.
-
How soon we forget history... Government is not reason. Government is not eloquence. It is force. And, like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master.
