AHEF is a non-profit, non-partisan educational
foundation dedicated to the understanding and teaching of America's
factual and philosophical heritage to promote constructive
citizenship . . . along with freedom, unity, progress, and
responsibility among our students and citizens. AHEF
accomplishes this patriotic mission by writing, producing, and
distributing FREE K-12 lesson plans to teachers, students, and
families in all 50 states and through additional initiatives,
programs, and partnerships.

It is committed to the rebirth and re-expression of citizenship through informed and thoughtful activism. It is an initiative of Declare Yourself, a national non-partisan, non-profit (501(c)(3)) organization dedicated to increasing young voter participation and civic involvement. Declare Yourself’s on-line voter registration tool has been used by almost four million people since 2004. Declare Yourself grew out of the 2003’s Declaration of Independence Road Trip that toured an original 1776 copy of the Declaration to schools, town halls, and other locations all over the country.

A volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children. DAR members volunteer more than 55,000 hours annually to veteran patients, award over $150,000 in scholarships and financial aid each year to students, and support schools for the underprivileged with annual donations exceeding one million dollars. It also is involved in many patriotic efforts including Project Patriot and several Patriotic Awards that recognizes deserving Americans for their respective noble deeds.
Flag of
Honor Fund
The purpose of the Flag of Honor Fund is to donate a framed artist
canvas of the Flag of Honor to the next of kin of each victim of
September 11th. The image is of an American Flag with the names of
all those who perished printed on the stripes of the flag. Each
"Family Edition" canvas will be personally remarked for the family
and signed. The samples are like a painting and are truly beautiful.
Framed they measure 21.40" X 28.40". We are hopeful that in
generations to come, this canvas will become a treasured family
heirloom. Good Citizen
Our mission is to teach Americans, especially young Americans, how
to be effective citizens. We believe... The greatest threat to the
country is that we are not fulfilling our roles as citizens.
Citizenship goes well beyond voting, jury duty, and community
service. Effective citizens can do simple, yet powerful things -
citizen actions - and these citizen actions keep our country strong,
vital and free.
Make-A-Wish Foundation
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® has enriched the lives of
children with life-threatening medical conditions through its
wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the
life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish® experience has on children,
families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities. Points of Light Foundation
Engages and mobilizes millions of volunteers who are helping to solve serious social problems in thousands of communities. Through a variety of programs and services, the Foundation encourages people from all walks of life — businesses, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, low-income communities, families, youth, and older adults — to volunteer.
