Think back to when you were young and how much you looked forward to celebrating July 4th . . . seeing the big fireworks display live in your area; the feeling you received when holding your hand over your heart when saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing the Star Spangled Banner; and, the growing pride when learning about the great Americans that made the USA what it is for our day.

I also hope that like me . . . you can remember yourself as a student expressing love and pride of America . . . creatively through a poem, essay, short story, artwork, photograph, and/or film (now video) . . . and always with loving parental approval and support, regardless for a grade or other reasons. And that feeling / emotion remains strong throughout your life . . . openly or as events bring them to the surface.

Then there were the moments in junior high and high school when certain aspects of American history made me very proud . . . like when learning about our founding fathers.  Just imagine what would have happened if these great Americans and their fellow patriots hadn't taken a stand against England, which has been a true, steady ally for most of America's storied history. Just reading about the Medal of Honor recipients and especially the fallen heroes left me with sincere appreciation and pride for their efforts that helped to keep the USA and Her allies free.

Well, nothing has changed either when it comes to each new generation's school years through the 12th grade. These are the years when a generation learns the why, what, when, and how of the United States of America . . . making them Student Patriots!

And their love and pride of America deserves to be known. So, that is why USA Patriotism! has added the Student Patriots section, where students through the 12th grade can express their patriotism through creative works for all to enjoy, appreciate, and admire.

Student Patriots will also be a wonderful visit down the road for the contributing students and their loved ones . . . Just imagine as an adult experiencing your expressions of love and pride of America on one or more subjects created in one or more grade levels.

Nor can words adequately describe the emotional pride for me to experience a similar expression by my children (now adults) and my grandchildren . . . which is the proud case with my oldest grandchild, Colby, who is almost seventeen years old. In fact, over the past year, Colby has photographed and filmed scenes associated with several Experiencing America trips including for the videos, Arapahoe Basin on Continental Divide, Keystone Resort, Winter Park Resort / American Beauty, and Joplin - 18 Days After F5 Tornado,

These young ones are America’s future . . . and what a wonderful way for us older ones to glimpse it through Student Patriots.
